Following these aftercare instructions will help your treatment settle correctly, minimise the risk of unwanted side effects and support the best possible results. Every patient heals differently, so always follow the personalised advice given during your appointment.
Immediately After Treatment (First 4 Hours)
For the first four hours after your treatment:
- Remain upright and avoid lying flat.
- Avoid bending over for prolonged periods.
- Do not rub, press or massage the treated areas.
- Avoid hats, helmets or anything that places prolonged pressure on the treatment area.
- Keep the skin clean and avoid unnecessary touching.
These simple precautions help reduce the chance of the product affecting nearby muscles.
During the First 24 Hours
For the remainder of the day, avoid:
- Strenuous exercise
- Alcohol
- Saunas and steam rooms
- Hot baths or hot tubs
- Excessive sun exposure
- Facial massage
- Beauty treatments involving the treated area
If you wear makeup, apply it gently and avoid rubbing the injection sites.
During the First 48 Hours
For the next two days, avoid scheduling treatments such as:
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- Laser treatments
- Dermabrasion
- Facial massage

What Is Normal?
It is common to experience:
- Mild redness around the injection sites
- Small bumps that usually settle within 20–60 minutes
- Mild tenderness
- Minor bruising
- A slight headache

When Will I See My Results?
Botox does not work immediately.
