Rejuran is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment containing polynucleotides (PN), which support your skin's natural repair processes. Rather than changing your facial features, Rejuran focuses on improving skin quality, hydration, elasticity and overall skin health.
Following these aftercare instructions will help minimise redness, swelling and bruising while supporting your skin's natural healing response.
Every patient heals differently, so always follow the personalised advice provided during your appointment.
Immediately After Treatment (First 24 Hours)
For the first 24 hours:
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas.
- Keep your skin clean.
- Avoid applying makeup for at least 12–24 hours, or as advised by your practitioner.
- Avoid unnecessary pressure on the treatment area.
- Stay well hydrated.
Small raised bumps where the product has been injected are expected and usually settle naturally.
During the First 48 Hours
To support healing, avoid:
- Strenuous exercise
- Heavy sweating
- Saunas and steam rooms
- Hot baths or hot tubs
- Swimming pools
- Alcohol where possible
- Excessive sun exposure
These activities may increase redness, swelling or irritation.
Skincare After Rejuran
For the first several days:
- Use a gentle cleanser.
- Apply a gentle moisturiser if recommended.
- Avoid exfoliating products.
- Avoid retinoids, AHAs, BHAs and other active ingredients until advised by your practitioner.
- Protect your skin with a broad-spectrum SPF every day.
Allow your skin barrier to recover naturally before returning to your normal skincare routine.
What Is Normal?
After Rejuran treatment, it is common to experience:
