Profhilo is an injectable skin remodelling treatment containing high concentrations of hyaluronic acid. Rather than adding volume like a dermal filler, it spreads beneath the skin to improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality.
Following these aftercare instructions will help minimise swelling and bruising while supporting your skin's natural regeneration.
Every patient heals differently, so always follow the personalised advice provided during your appointment.
Immediately After Treatment (First 24 Hours)
For the first 24 hours:
- Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated areas.
- Keep the skin clean.
- Avoid applying makeup for at least 12 hours, or as advised by your practitioner.
- Stay well hydrated.
- Avoid unnecessary pressure on the injection sites.
Small bumps at the injection points are expected and usually settle naturally.
During the First 48 Hours
To support healing, avoid:
- Strenuous exercise
- Heavy sweating
- Saunas and steam rooms
- Hot baths or hot tubs
- Excessive sun exposure
- Alcohol where possible
- Facial massage
- Other facial aesthetic treatments unless approved by your practitioner
These activities may increase swelling or irritation.
During the First Week
For the next 7 days:
- Continue using gentle skincare.
- Avoid introducing new skincare products.
- Protect your skin with a broad-spectrum SPF.
- Avoid unnecessary pressure on the treated areas.
If you are planning dental treatment or another injectable procedure, let your practitioner know.
